The library collection contains a total of about 25.000 volumes (as of 2/2011), including subscriptions to 48 national and international journals. Special prints and portraits of physicians are archived separately.

Since 1998, a special focus on health care ethics was established in cooperation with the Academy for Ethics in Medicine (AEM). Several thousand monographs of the Academy for Ethics in Medicine are integrated into the collection.
